Once confirmed via 3D u/s if we?re still showing as a girl - DH and I have kinda decided how we?ll decorate her room.
I liked the idea of soft pink on the top 1/2 of the room and soft green at the bottom. Should we ?1 foot stripe? green, white, green, white at the bottom? http://tinyurl.com/myvq56
or like this http://tinyurl.com/kn7zf8
**OR** solid green? http://tinyurl.com/n2abpk
The crown molding, baseboards, doors, window frame, floating shelves & the chair rail used to separate the room will all be in white.
I like the idea of using Butterflies as the ?theme? but I hate the bedding at Babies?r?us...
I did find at toys?r?us these butterflies that are like a mobile but hang off the ceiling with something like fishing wire?I really liked that!

Do you have any recommendations of great bedding sites/stores? OR and ideas on how to make the room fun?
Thanks!
Re: Crafty & Good ideas needed! :-)
The stripes are really cute, but I'd be wary about doing it if you're doing it yourself. Stripes are harder to paint than it looks. Plus if you have an older home (I think you do for some reason) your walls are most likely not going to be straight, so you might have some stripes that are a little off.
If you are going ahead anyway, I think the multi colour stripes with pink on the top would be too busy. What about pink on top, chair rail and then green on green for the bottom. You could use two different sheens of the same colour to make a wide subtle stripe or you could even use one colour lighter on the chip for one of the stripes.
As for bedding. Babies R Us is definitely limited. Try looking at nurserydepot.com They do ship to canada, but who knows what the duty would be. You could always find bedding you like and then see which retailers in Canada carry the line.
For mobiles, artwork and accessories, try Etsy. There are some crazy talented people on there.
Have fun!!
I like the idea od doing stripes only on the bottom (I find that when they cover the entire wall(s) it can be a bit overwhelming). I would do them vertical - like the first pic.
Butterflies are a cute idea. I know that when my SIL wanted to do bumble bees, and couldn't find bedding/accessories that she really liked, she bought and assortment of bedding, bumpers, lampshades, etc, and had them embroidered at a local shop. It cost about $5/bee. HTH!
