Poll: Your view on clothing trends

If you  answer "it depends," please explain why below!

Re: Poll: Your view on clothing trends

  • I said it depends.  If you mocked the trend and said "I can't believe I ever wore those flannel shirts!" after they went out of style, you shouldn't be able to wear them again.  If you said, "I've worn out all my stirrup pants! I sure wish they were still in style so I could get some more", than it's fine for you to run out to Old Navy and stock back up.
  • I said it depends. If you liked the style then there is no reason why you shouldn't wear it if you want to wear it when it comes back out.

  • I don't mind updated versions of things. Like SOME of the flannel shirts actually look like they were made for girls, not like the work shirts I stole from my Dad. But if you're rocking acid washed jeans and a hyper color shirt exactly as ya did back in the day, I hope you're doing it to be ironic.

Things I looked great in at 14 or 15 would look ridiculous now. Not to mention my tush would not look nearly as great now in stirrup pants as it did back in the day. And for the love of Pete it is my solemn vow to not wear neon again, or if I cave, to do it in a limited and tasteful way.

LOL!  I'd love to see neon done in a tasteful way!

  • I said "it depends" because I think if you loved/still love a certain trend AND  it doesn't look ridiculous on you (i.e. you don't look too old to pull it off) then there's nothing wrong with rocking those leggings :)
