We got the house!!!
Yay!! We're so excited! It's a 4 bedroom, 2.5 detached house in Stittsville, which is still Ottawa but the very west end. Finished basement, and a huge backyard! It's at the end of a the street, and backs onto a park, so no rear neighbours. It's so much house now, but we definitely won't outgrow it for a long time. Can't wait!
The MLS listing has the address, so I'm reluctant to post that. I'll see if I can get pictures at the home inspection and post those.

We close Oct 30, which is going to make for a crazy few days (since we have to be out of our apartment on the 31st).
MN4L, the house was built in 2002, so it doesn't need much work and it's definitely not a fixer-up. Definitely stuff we'll need to do while we're there, but nothing right away.

I think if we were to do it over again... I'm not sure if we'd get a fixer upper LOL... Things are taking way longer than I expected but it certainly is rewarding. I think a non-fixer-upper house would be enough work! Congrats again!
