***Becki*** and other recent home buyers

If your A/C isn't working use the home warranty your agent (should have and hopefully did) order for you. Its usually a $50 deductible but they will fix it. In this heat you need one that works like a CHAMP! :-)

Re: ***Becki*** and other recent home buyers

  • I actually did that 2 weeks ago--- our electric bill was $450 and our house was never cool! So we called them out, they serviced it (servicing normally costs more than $100 anyway), and they got it up and running MUCH better--- we saved more than $200 on our electric bill between that and our whole house fan- and the house was actually cool! :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Thanks Tiff!

So funny that you posted this - we're dealing with this exact problem right now. We had the A/C fixed the day we got the keys. Our agent was purchasing a warranty for us, but it hadn't gone thru yet and we wanted it done ASAP so we just went for it. It worked great for a few days and is not so much now. It was 87 degrees last night. Miserable. So we taked with our agent, he said the warranty person had his CC#, sooo we're waiting to get it all straightened out.
