hi ladies! the weather is perfect here in honolulu right now...i hear back in SF, the weather is a ridiculous hot and yucky.

but i digress...

any of you know when and where LOST is usually filmed? i know where some of the spots are but i don't know how to find out where exactly they are at what time. too bad i don't have any friends who work in the filming office in honolulu. hehe.

Hehe, all I know is that they're on the North Shore. My skydiving tandem instructor pointed their set out to me when we were skydiving on Oahu's North Shore

I think some nesties have ran into their cast too, so I'm sure they can chime in with more info!

Police Beach is where they used to have the whole huts set up permanently. Not sure they are filming there anymore though. It's on the North Shore, right before Haleiwa and unfortunately I can't remember the name of the street we turned right on. It started with a "P" and it takes you to a residential area. From there you found the public beach access and turned left. We were allowed access to cross the beach but had to wait until they stopped filming. Saw Juliet, Claire and Sun. But this was a few years ago.

They also do the filming for Hurley's mental institute scenes at Windward Community College in Kaneohe, but it's very random when they are there. When you see a little white sign that says "Base Camp", that's where they are filming for the day. We'd see them every so often in different places around the island.

The Others houses are clear up on the North Shore, almost to the end of the road. There's a YMCA camp there that they use. I couldn't tell you how to get there as my sister drove but you should be able to google it!

If you want to find John Locke (aka Terry O'Quinn) he's usually at the Sunset Beach Starbucks around 8am on weekday mornings, as long as he's not shooting then. He stalked ME during my wedding week, as people from the knot might remember!

Now I wanna fly home and stalk the lost crew too....sounds like fun I'm from Oahu and use to spend a lot of time on the north shore going to the beach and riding dirt bike in the hills in Kahuku. I think the YMCA camp is at the top of Pupukea Road. Elvis Presley's house is up there too. Some of the scenes in Lost were filmed at my old High School Sacred Hearts Academy. Every time I watch Lost I try to figure out where they are filming and what buildings and stuff they are using. Really makes wanna plan a day trip home

There's actually some filming going on right now in Waianae, on Pray For Sex Beach. We go hiking at Kaena Point on a pretty regular basis with a friend who lives out on that side and they've been there for about 2 weeks now. They've got security in that area (along with all the huge trailers with equipment!) so you won't be able to access the beach directly. Parking somewhere else and walking along the beach might be an option but it's sort of a bad area so I'd worry about my car getting stolen or broken into.... We always pass by that area in the early afternoon and don't see many people there so I think that they might be filming scenes at night. It looks like the place on the beach where Jacob lives, in the base of the statue.

I used to see them around town quite a bit. ?They did a lot of filming in Kaimuki, around St. Patrick's / Sacred Hearts. ?I've also seen the cast members around town. ?Stood in line behind Josh Holloway (Sawyer) at the Hawaii Kai Ross. ?And I've seen Naveen Andrews (Sayid) driving around the Kahala area (I think he lives in the area). ?Happy stalking! ?:)

Hi ladies! I'm back in SF and I failed at my stalking!

I was staying at my cousin's house in Hawaii Kai and she said that Sawyer lives in Hawaii Kai and has seen him a few times. But of course I didn't see him :-(

Guess that means I'll just have to go visit again ;-P
