I normally can't get on here during the day so yesterday I missed all the action. Thursday's are my day off and I thought I would have something to do, but there have been no posts.

I am in and out today. . . Mostly in. I am trying to get stuff planned out for Saturday afternoon. We are running to the store cause they have cubes of pop for 3.98. I lead such an exciting life!

it's like we live in different countries... i have no clue what a cube of pop is. i'm guessing it's a case of coke? {here we call all soft drinks coke for some reason}

It's soda here, but when we visit friends three hours southeast, I had to translate for DH, where they say pop.

This completely cracked me up - I dont think I've heard anyone say a cube of pop in 10 years since I lived in Iowa. Here it would be a case of coke too.

That reminds me that my local store has 12 packs 4 for $10. Is a "cube" a 12 pack? More?

I'm here - but I can only post after work. My work blocks everything non-work related (and even some work-related things which is just ridic). But I never have time to go on the computer at work anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter!

The cube of pop cracked me up. We would call it a cube or pack of soda...and that's cheap! But a cube where I am is either 24 or 30. Is your cube 12? Here a 12-pack goes for 4 bucks.

A cube is 24. And I now feel like an idiot for saying pop! But, hey that's what it is here in WV!
