Our school is having Open House for parents tonight. I. hate. this. night. I've been in a pissy mood all day just thinking about it. The only positive is that I've been able to catch up with the board in between school ending and Open House starting. Congrats to all you pregos! So very exciting! I'd like some of that water in about 3 months!

We have a "No Conference" policy. If they want to ask specific questions, they have to schd a conference.
You may be in somewhat of the same boat, but I am the IEP Authority for about 20 kids, and parents want to talk about the IEPs at Open House. I cannot talk about them then, so they have no choice but to schd a meeting.
