Random question for pet owners

What does your pet do when you and your DH get busy?

Our dog immediately hops off the bed and goes to the other room when we start kissing, then somehow knows when we're done and hops on the bed to lay down next to us post-coitus. It's pretty funny, actually.

  • I hate to tell you this, but he doesn't go in the other room... he stays at the foot of the bed and watches! That's how he mysteriously knows when you're done. Smile

  • Well, normally our cat isn't around when we first start getting busy. But, there have been several times where we have finished only to look on the floor by the door and see her laying there watching us. It totally creeps me out!

  • Our 3 year old cat usually wanders off to another room. I have caught her sitting on the futon in our bedroom staring, which was a tad creepy. Our kitten on the other hand thinks it's play time and jumps on the bed and attacks our feet (he sniffed DH's butt once and I almost died laughing). I can't tell you how distracting it is to remove him from the bed over and over. We've resorted to crating him if/when he becomes a nuisance.

  • We usually have to kick our dog out of bed...he's pretty curious and also somewhat protective of me at times so he gets sent to his bed.  But he has jumped up and laid back down in our bed on numerous occasions while we're in the middle of things.  The cat could care less and we never notice her around during that time!

  • we have to crate the dog...its pretty miserable.
  • When DH first started sleeping over, my dog was super protective of me and used to growl at DH and try to "help" me so she would have to be crated.  She got used to it.  The other dog we got together and he is the laziest dog on the planet and is usually under the bed.  These days my dog either whines because she wants to play or just lays in the corner.  It helps that they aren't allowed on the bed.  If they were we would have definite problems.

This would actually be funny and I would applaud her stealth tactics, but we can see her leave and return. Of course she may be right outside the door, but with hardwood floors, we can't miss her scampering.

  • We have two cats that could really care less about what we're doing.  But when I had first started dating DH, he had this Australian Cattle Dog and one time he jumped up on the bed and started humping us.. I just about died!!!  Needless to say, after that we had to lock him out of the room haha.

  • Our bed is too high for our dog to jump on. If we start getting busy he sits on the floor and growls and moans like he is getting laid himself. It's actually pretty funny, but distracting as hell. If we lock him outside of our room and he can hear us marking, ummm noises, he'll just sit out there and bark until we let him in. It's horrible.
  • We end up having to lock them out of the bedroom... or whatever room... they scratch at the door a few minutes and then leave until its all over.
  • He's not allowed on the bed, so he usually just lies down on the floor next to it.  Sometimes he gets curious and this little nose appears over the edge of the bed... very distracting.
