Still here and still no baby...
Induction on 9/9/09... Unless she comes during the full moon on Friday or this weekend!
DH wanted her to come this week so he could get out of work. My parents and sister are here and all want her to come NOW.
So I told DH this morning, wow, looks like she is defying us already!
He responded: No, she's being independent and operating on her own schedule, so we have to respect that.

UGH Malia I bet you are anxious to hold your little girl and actually see her beutiful face...ten fingers...ten toes. When the time does come...good luck and we're all rooting for ya!!!
Well 9-9-09 will be an easy date for everyone to remember, so that's cool. The waiting game must be tough. I just found out that a co-worker of mine finally delivered her baby girl...10 days late!!! Goodness, I couldn't imagine!

I can't wait to meet her either Malia! How long are your sister/parents booked to stay for? Will they still get a lot of time with the baby if she is born on 9/9/09 (which, I totally agree, is an awesome date)?
At least you have a definite deadline to look forward to... I remember my mom telling me the other day that when she had my brother, her first child, he was something like 5 weeks late!! But that was way back in 1960, when I don't think they really did inductions and C-sections commonly at all. I was kind of horrified. It sounded truly miserable.
Have you tried all of the "techniques" to help start labor? (That is, if you want her to come now)... I tried them ALL! Brooke came at 38weeks1day... I ate eggplant parmesean, ate pineapple and walked everyday. I experienced a lot of BH after having sex, that might be the one to try.. .

Yeah... Went out for spicy Mexican food twice. Went out last night for spicy Indian food. Long walk on Monday. Longer walk this morning. S*x last Thursday, but none since my parents and sister have been here... The house is too full for that. Arg. We tried to on Sunday when we got home early and they weren't back but then they got HOME just as we were getting started, so we had to stop. LOL... I might have a plan to get them all out of the house tonight tho..... I was told MANGO and not pineapple, so ate that last night too... Someone else told me Raspberry tea? So, yeah, I am trying all I can... Geesh! Stubborn baby!

Yeah... I feel the same way!!
But in answer to Anna's question... My parents are here until Sept. 26, so they'd still see her, I just wouldn't get as much help after she comes since she is wasting time in there! And my sister flies back to SPAIN on Sept. 9. Doh! We might make her change her ticket tho.....
