bra or no bra with wedding gown?
So I figured I'd ask all the married ladies 
I have my dress fitting in a few weeks and I'm debating if I should wear a long line bra or skip the bra and just do cups.
I'm not heavy up top at all and either way I want to do something to enhance what I don't have My bridal consultant said she likes the bras b/c it makes everything lay better but she could of been trying to just sell me the bra.
So did you wear one or not and do you think it made a difference either way?

I did wear a long line strapless bra with my gown(and it had a built in corset inside the dress), I just felt like it really lifted me and really helped the bodice of my dress to look as fitted as I wanted it to. I will say this, if you do end up buying the bra, you will use it for something down the line, even if you choose to not wear it under the dress. I've used mine in the last two weddings I was in, and I'm sure I will wear it again when I'm in another friends wedding coming up this winter. Its one of the purchases that you'll always be happy you made.
Maybe I"ll just buy one and try it both ways when I go...Every time I've put on my dress they had me put one on so I really don't know what it would feel like without it.
I've heard on Chrissy's in Marlton that sells them but where else can I get a long line bra? I've check Macys but they only have them in bigger sizes
No bra. The dress was tight enough and hot enough that I can't imagine having another article under the dress.
I wore a long line bra...what I affectionately referred to as my "gut sucker", just because I wanted something to hold me in and hoist me up. I've got a lot going on up top, though, and the way my dress was made I think I really would have needed one even if I didn't want one. Now, on the other hand, my sister also has a lot on top but her dress was so structured and so heavy that she didn't need anything under there.
Try it both ways, see what you like better and what is more comfortable. You should be able to find something at any of the department stores. I ordered mine from www.herroom.com. They have a good return policy and great customer service.
No bra! My dress was a corset top and I just didn't need one. I also couldn't imagine wearing any extra clothing. It's all fun putting the dress on, but eight hours later you can't wait to get that thing off. It's a work out in itself to walk around all day with such a heavy dress on.
Bra seemed unnessisary to me, so I skipped it. My dress was altered to fit me perfectly. Plus, in July it was hot enough as is!
I wore a long line bra I got at Chrissy's and it definitely helped to smooth me out, but it adds alot of thickness to the dress. By the end of the night I took it off and you couldn't even tell.
Not sure if it's really worth the $125+ but if you feel more comfortable with it, go for it.
