Hi girls...I'm happy it's Friday, how 'bout you? I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that one tho'. 
What's on the agenda for the weekend?
DH and I are leaving for Disney World bright and early tomorrow morning. I have a ton of things to do when I get home from work, plus I'm having my pops over for dinner (my mom is on a cruise with her sis for the week). My sis will be taking care of him the rest of the week. Not that he can't take care of himself...he's 57 and capable of being on his own, but we usually take turns making him dinner if my mom goes away.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful extended weekend and week...see you on the flip side!

Ah, it's one of those Fridays in the year that doesn't even count as a real work day.DH works Monday, so it's a short weekend for us, but we'll enjoy it. Lunch at a nice little restaurant. A little canoe expedition this afternoon. Figure something out for tomorrow. And a friend BBQ on Sunday.
(Oh, and, by the way, this is an old nestie formerly known by a foreign country. Just wanted to start a new name going. My present name refers in jest to the little drama that precipitated this change. Anyone remember SNL's "Oh...No...Mr. Bill!"?)
Yesterday felt like Friday to me so i'm a little confused to be sitting here at work...
Tonight; DH and i fly to Buffalo for a friend's wedding tomorrow!
Saturday; sleep in (as much as we can), hit the hotel pool and hot tub, get ready, wedding at 2pm, then a 2hr break, reception at 5pm. I'm really looking forward to it!
Sunday; the newlyweds are baptising their 9mo old daughter and having a bbq afterwards and we're invited! So we'll sleep in again, more pool/hot tub (if there's time), get ready for baptism festivities, check out of hotel, go to baptism/bbq, maybe drive around a bit, and then head to the airport for our flight that night!
Monday; *no plans*! Probably recovering from the weekend, cleaning, chillaxing...we'll see what happens!

Ooh MrsDe, the time for vacation is herrreeeee!
I have an action packed weekend since Labor Day Weekend is usually the Caribbean/West Indian event culminating in the parade on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn (anyone wanna join me there?)
Tonight: Biggest Dominica backyard party...usually goes to 7am and I am so ready for it! DH will be working on our kitchen.
Sat: The number one band from Dominica is playing in Brooklyn...I really wanna go but DH isn't going so I gotta figure that one out. DH has some friends coming over to work on kitchen some more.
Sun: relax, laundry, do some yard maintenance. DH plans to paint DR and LR.
Mon: dancing on the Parkway and eating lots of Caribbean dishes and drinks till I can't take it anymore! LOL

Tomorrow, I have to work a double (boo!) but it's my last day (yay!)
Sunday, DH and I are off to Utah to visit his sister for 4 days. I am so excited! Everyone have a great, long weekend!

Bonnie and Jen, I'm so jealous, I so want to go somewhere (and yes, we did just come back from Mexico a month ago, but seeing all these tickers and hearing stories makes me want to go again).
Tomorrow is Sasha's birthday and we're having a party at my ILs' house in SI (which means running errands and finishing stuff for the party tonight and tomorrow morning). Sunday and Monday are wide open right now, but we are probably going to head over to DH's grandparents' - his grandpa and great-aunt (who live in the same apt building) are missing the party, but they want to see the birthday girl. We might do something last minute, but no plans as of right now.
