We're having black eyed pea soup. Sounds odd, yes I know. But it looked pretty tasty. And I'm one of those weird ones that likes black eyed peas.
What are you having?

I have no idea what is for dinner since I will likely have no part in its preparation. Just wanted to say that your soup sounds delicious. I adore black eyed peas in any form, especially cooked down really mushy.
Corn grits at Zea's are amazing! I may have to make my way over there this weekend.
Oh Christen... it is delicious. There is one in Lafayette, one in Baton Rouge, and I think two in New Orleans. It a rotisserie restaurant, but they have many many good things. Get the Thai Ribs and the corn grits if you geaux. It's delicious. I've also made a couple things from there at home. Delicious!
I have no earthly idea haha
I am craving steak since I've been working out all week and really haven't had much meat especially with H sick.
He's eating solids now (I'm so proud hah) but he said he wants to keep it on the softer side so it doesn't hurt and well steak wouldn't really go.
Maybe I can get me a steak and him something else.
Dinner and I haven't been getting along lately. I've been getting killer heartburn around 4-5pm everyday, so I have kind of skipped dinner this week.
So, I have no idea what I will eat tonight.
Christen, I like black-eyed peas too.
I whole-heartedly agree...Thai Ribs, corn grits and Zea potatoes are the bomb. I usually get the meat of the day...it's all great!
Also, their gift certificates are usually 1/2 off from radio stations. If you get on the site right at 8am on Fridays, you get 2-$25 gift certs. for $25! It's awesomeness for cheap date nights!

The Meditteranean Hummus is also excellent.
We had dinner at the glorious wedding we went to. It was pretty good.
