? for a friend.. maternity coat
A girlfirend of mine is visiting form NB and she has been on a hunt for a winter maternity coat...
I know you ladies are awesome at deals and websites for this sort of thing...
She is due in January and so she will need a coat!!!
Thanks ladies!
Re: ? for a friend.. maternity coat
I don't spend a lot of time outside, so I plan to just wear my regular winter coat unbuttoned. If I took transit or walked a lot I might invest in one, but it seems a bit of a waste considering it's only until the end of December and I pretty much walk from my house to my car and then cross the street from the parking garage to my office.
I have seen neat mat coats that have a zip in/out panel that you can add when you're pregnant and remove later. I can't remember the name of it though. Maybe someone else can.
Thanks for asking Ash! I was going to as well! LOL
I was going to do as Amy suggested and just use mine unbuttoned but I just went to try it on and it already doesn't close a good 3 inches...so add another 3.5 months YA RIGHT!
So the hunt is on! Thanks for the tip of Old Navy Sammy - I'll check them out.
I've also heard about second-hand gently used stores..I'm sure they'd have some of them there too? or Winners..I know they're not Mat. coats but there is a lot of selection and sizes..I'm sure something will look cute!
GL! & let me know if your friend finds anything!
I bought an M coat, and it was fabulous! I kept thinking my regular coats would do the trick, but they really didn't...
