Help a Houston nestie - Family Reunion Planning
Ladies:
I am looking for a photographer that could shoot a Family Reunion in Artesia in late October. We will be heading that way, and would like to enjoy the event instead of worrying about who is taking pictures.
I am also looking for a suggestion on where to either pick up a cake or get one delivered. A nice deisgner cake (if possible). Looking for something a little better than Wal-Mart. Willing to travel to Roswell or Carlsbad as well!
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

You probably will have better luck in Roswell or Artesia over Carlsbad. Don't ask me why, but the Carlsbad dining scene is pitiful. I go to Carlsbad for work several times a year and me & my coworkers are always appalled at our dining choices.
That being said, Blue House Bakery & Cafe has great pastries and cakes. I think they do catering, so you might want to try them. 575-628-0555
I don't have any recommendations for a photographer. All the ones I know are in Santa Fe or ABQ and would charge for travel.
