Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

BU: Home office ideas
Let me know what you think of turning our formal living room into a home office/library--esp. for resale.

Yeah, we are thinking we will make them removable so we can take them with us if we can....
and we will keep our formal dining room, its our formal living room we will turn into this (we still have a normal living room with the TV and couch and such, we just have an awkward front room that doesn't have much in it now..)
I think it's a great idea. Most people don't have formal living rooms, and even if they wanted one, you could still have bookcases like that in a formal living room. Just make sure the desk could be removed, just for resale's sake.
We also use our formal living room as an office (so did the people in the house before us).
