So excited I'm sick to my stomach - have to tell someone!
So, DH & I were scheduled to go on a 7-day dive cruise in the Bahamas, out of Freeport, in October. And no, we're not rich. LOL.
DH won his cruise, so we've made some sacrifices and scrounged up the money for mine. Can't pass up a free dive cruise.
Well, the cruiseline called today. There is a problem with porting out of Freeport, so they need to move us to Nassau. Oh, and they also need to put us on a different boat. So.... instead of being on a bare-minimum-share-a-room-with-other-folks-no-shower-for-7-days cruise, we're on a luxury liveaboard. Private rooms, private bathrooms. Shower as much as I like. Huge boat. Plus the cruise is an extra day. Plus the Nassau cruises also offer shore excursions (snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, etc) included. Plus transfers between the airport. It's valued at 3x what the cruise we booked costs.
And we're getting this at no extra charge, because "it's not your problem". The way they put it, we're doing them a favor by agreeing to the change.
I am so excited I am seriously about to poop my pants! LOL.
