AW: I have the best baby in the world!

Lexi has pretty much slept through the night right from birth but as of this morning she is still sleeping (11.5 hrs so far).  Whoo, I feel so spoiled especially since DS has always been such a poor sleeper!

Ok so here is my confession... since Lexi has turned out to be such an easy baby, DH an I are seriously thinking about TTC #3 ASAP:-)  Am I crazy for wanting to do this or not???

Re: AW: I have the best baby in the world!

  • I'm glad that you're getting more rest with Lexi - what a great sleeper! Please send me any dust/tricks you have :)

TTC #3?!?! I'm overwhelmed thinking of having one right now. But hey, if you're up for it - I say go for it!

  • That is great she is an awesome sleeper!!! Were you always considering a third?? :)
  • YAY for Lexi...and I don't think you're crazy! If you and DH feel ready for it ? then no one can say otherwise!

I think it?s great to have them close together ? DH and I too would like that?our max is 2 yrs apart.

I always said I'd love to have twins...so DH jokes he'll do his best for # 2 LOL (twins run high in our families)

  • lol. Not at all! If you've read my posts about my nightmare sleeper, then you know that I understand difficult sleepers. We still want two kids, but we are planning to have our second when Ethan is much older, preferably in school, because we cannot deal with another baby right now. We have said, though, that if #2 was a dream then we'd consider a third... but we're both nervous that #3 would be challenging and then we'd have an easy middle child that got overlooked while we cared for it's more demanding siblings...

  • YAY Lexi!

But, my friend, don't count your chickens... Dani was a fantastic sleeper (at least 10 hours in a row) from 7 weeks until about 5 months, and that's when it drastically changed - we eventually did sleep training and she's doing better (minus teething episodes).

If you're up for #3 I say go for it!!!

I'm waiting until Dani's about 2yrs to start TTC #2.

  • How exciting!  I am happy for you that she is sleeping so well!  I don't think you are crazy for wanting ot try for #3!  Go for it Big Smile
  • I don't think you are crazy at all. ?Keep them close in age! ?I think it was harder on my little brother growing up because he was so much younger than my older brother and I (he was 5 years younger). ? And hey my mom had two tough little boys and one easy going little girl and she managed to stay mostly sane! ?My question is, ?are you planning on stopping at 3?
