sorry i've been MIA... an update
hey hoochies! i've sorely missed my internet the last few days.
i got admitted saturday with preterm labor and had a positive fetal fibronectin (predictor of early delivery). i was discharged yesterday evening on contraction meds and am on bedrest until these two arrive.
happy hump day!
Re: sorry i've been MIA... an update
Oh no, bedrest is no fun
I'm so sorry to hear that. Are the meds keeping the contractions under control? I really hope those two stay put for many more weeks! I know we haven't met, but I know what you are going through so please let me know if there is anything I can do! Hang in there!!
the meds are doing the job so far, the hardest part is going to be staying lying down. i've got so much photoshopping to do, i'm just going to have to pace myself and take it day by day.
i am *so* glad i have awesome people in the same field as me who have agreed to back me up on stuff i had scheduled already. as soon as i found out i was having twins, i got everything lined up for backups for september through november, and it's taken a huge weight off of me. not to mention, my clients have been awesome about it.
now, i'm going to pull my ancient laptop out and see if i can bootleg off of the neighbor's wireless internet...
oh no! Tell those babies to stay put a while longer!!
Do you know about how big they are right now?

last week, J was 2lb, 6oz and S was 2lb, 10oz. maybe all this lying around will let them pork up a little.
well they're doing good, growing big!
You should check out the Tubre quads blog. I used to work at Dow with Jaclyn and she had her quads WAY early, they were tiny. But they all pulled through, it's really heartwarming to read their story. And their blog has been going for a couple of years now so you can fill some of your time with it!
