*Confession*...I actually want to see this movie.
I remember watching the tv show when I was really little plus I saw the musical when I was in London in 2005.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who wants to see this!!!!
Re: Fame: The Movie
I go back and forth- I LOVE the original, which makes me want to see it.
BUUUUT- I don't want them to totally butcher it, which makes me not want to see it!
If you end up seeing it, let me know if I should go or not!
my mom will probably make me go see it with her, lol!

When I was little I had a red leotard and a short navy skirt that I called my "dance skirt".
I would run up to my room and put on this ensemble the second the commercial break came on before "FAME". Right before the open credits would roll, I would be back in the family room in front of our big console tv that had no remote, ready to dance.
During the show I would dance, and then I would dance to the opening credits of "Hill Street Blues".
I did this religiously as a child. And this story is why I can't go see the movie. Although big ups to Debbie Allen for making an appearance in it.

Kittybits - A little of column A...and a little of column B. I can see the news reports now. "Woman in red leotard and navy bath towel (because the skirt doesn't fit anymore, duh) disrupts and delights movie theatre with impromptu dance routine."
See ya on Broadway!!!
