Crash diets

A bride to be died after going on a crash diet:

how sad is that???  Of course, I am pretty sure after a few days on a 500 calorie a day diet, I would have to start eating more.

Re: Crash diets

  • wow, scary and sad.
  • People will do outrageous things, in hopes of a quick fix. Sad  I agree with Jen - it's sad, downright tragic.

You would think, though, that most doctors would HOPEFULLY not sign off on their patients undertaking something where you can only eat 500 calories a day.  There's NO WAY you can get the nutritional requirements your body needs to function.

And after a few days of surviving like that (and that's all you could do - it's not even enough to maintain basic functions of a completely sedentary person!), I don't think anyone would WANT to marry me. I'd be an absolute beyotch or shut down entirely.
