i saw you were looking for an alfredo recipe - we like ours really cheesy and garlicky, but here's mrduetime's recipe.  we do this all the time with the tyson chicken breast strips already cooked - just sautee them with some butter and italian seasoning.

1 pint heavy whipping cream

1 stick unsalted butter

garlic powder (to taste)

white pepper (to taste)

1/2 container grated parmesan cheese

melt butter down, add in garlic powder and white pepper.  add in cream and bring to a boil.  cut heat down and whisk in parmesan cheese until as thick as you want it.  simmer for a few minutes, then ladle over pasta.
