Poll about books

I saw this on the Nest Book Club. For all you readers: What was your favorite book that you have read this year?

Re: Poll about books

  • Pride and Prejudice and Zomnies! Freaking hilarious!  I will never look at cauliflower the same again!
Lilypie Second Birthday tickers Daisypath Anniversary tickers
  • The Next Thing On My List by Jill Smolinski.  It was inspiring (without being hokey) and I loved the characters.

Anyone on goodreads.com?  I'm always looking for friends on there!

Pre-Sarah, I used to read ALL THE TIME.  Once she was born, I found myself too busy to read and really missing it.  Using the Nest Book Club challenge, my friends and I (who also have kids and have missed reading) have really gotten back into it!

It's not all Mary's fault. I'm not much of a reader. The last book I had read before that was "Marley and Me". We read it Christmas of 2006.

  • The last book I read (lame I know) Mommywood Tori Spelling. It sucked. :P I need to look into Good Reads when I get home.
  • Loved reading Outlander but tough getting thru Dragonfly in Amber
  • I just started reading Julie and Julia and am enjoying it right now... its weird how it really strikes a chord with me- she was 29, so am I. She had PCOS, so do I. She was having a quarter life crisis, so am I. Good times, lol.
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Loving Sabotage by Amelie Nothomb. I had to read it for my French class. It was a short book, but really well written.

I am loving it so far but it has been tough. It's like its slow but I am still captivated. I keep wondering what can happen if we supposedly know what the final result/history is. Ahhhh!

  • all I've been able to do is quick re reads of some old fav's. Mostly chick lit. good in bed-jennifer weirner, jemina j-jane green
  • New book? I think Sookie Stackhouse books. Lame i know but I haven't read anything new that I really loved excep those.

Gwen and Robyn-I actually loved Dragonfly In Amber, and Voyager or however you spell it was hard for me to get through the first time. That's one of my very favorite series.

  • I read a TON all the time, and I *know* I read at least 4 books this summer, but I cannot remember a single title!

I do love all of Jodi Piccoult's books though. :)
