Seriously, TGIF
I'm soaked. Literally soaked from head to toe. The rain decided to come down in buckets just as I was getting out of my car. Then I realized, halfway to the door that I forgot my cell in my car. I ran back and stepped in a hugeass puddle.
After work I'm heading down to my parents' house to celebrate my dad's bday. I've barely seen H all week and I feel bad leaving him, but he has class so he won't be around much anyway. I can't wait for Sunday to watch the final True Blood episode!!!

TGIF. I had to go out on our deck and take our umbrella down - that was fun. I love how there's a tornado watch until 12 - scary. I hate days like today b/c I cant leave the house. I'd at least like to go for a walk.
My MIL is coming to visit today. Tomorrow we're going to NY for a Yankees game. Sunday we'll be watching football, then True Blood of course!
I broke out the Wellies today. I don't care if I look like I'm five years old. It's nasty as crap out there.
I'm very excited for today and this weekend, though. My bff is in from Minnesota today so we're doing lunch (hopefully her flight isn't too delayed) and then H and I are headed to MD for a RD and wedding. I'm hoping all the rain gets out of the way today so they have good weather tomorrow!
I can't believe it's been 8 years since 9/11. Hard to imagine it was such a gorgeous day that day...
We had winds up to around 50mph here last night and it was so loud and shaking my house that I barely had any sleep. A sinus infection on top of it makes me pretty miserable this morning, but at least I am off for the day and heading to get my mom and go baby furniture shopping.
I hope this weather clears up, but a good thing if it doesn't is I don't have to listen to a bazillion motorcycles fly past my house for Roar to the Shore. As long as it is nice for H and I to see Pedro pitch Sunday night, I'm ok with a little wind and rain.
I walked into work, stepped in a puddle, and flooded out my ballet flat. Now I'm making this nasty squishing sound when I walk.
However I do have a corportate luncheon at PF Changs this afternoon.
The guy in the cube next to me is wearing cologne today and he smells good enough to lick.
Hahaha. I think they frown on that in corporate settings, so try to control yourself.
That cube mate is foolish...his cologne will not taste as good as it smells. So really what has he proven?
Why do short work weeks seem so much longer than regular work weeks? Today is dragging and yet it is the last day of a short week.
