New AI judge is ELLEN?
Don't get me wrong. I love love LOVE Ellen. But I love her in her element, hosting her own show.
Does she really know that much about the music biz? Not like she really needs to be in the know to be a judge, but you can tell AI is in serious need of good ratings so they hired Ellen for comic relief. Fo. Sho.

Well, she knows how to get down with her bad self. I see what you mean about not being a music expert, but then again, can Paula really be counted as an expert?
I think the one thing about AI is that it's not neccesarily the most talented person who wins. It's the person who Americans connect with, so I guess in that respect, Ellen represents the general music loving public. I do think she'll influence voting A LOT though.

I was actually happy when I heard she was going to be an AI judge... hopefully she'll be better on AI than on SYTYCD!
I think Ellen is a horrible choice for that position. As far as I know, she has no musically background or knowledge so how can see be considered an expert judge?? All of the other judges have been in the music industry for years. I'm sure I will still watch the show though.
