16 weeks is awesome.
I get 6 weeks pd leave. But, I will have the baby about 6 weeks before the last day of school, then I will have another 12 weeks for the summer. I need to plan all babies like that haha.
I am no good a jokes...I am actually really bad a jokes.
So, I got cussed out by a student this morning, and she got crazy in the classroom. It was insane. Entertaining now...not entertaining then.
When I got pg, I thought to myself, "Ali should totally get pg right now; she would have the best maternity leave ever!" Little did I know...
You're a better person than me. I would have slapped her and gotten arrested.
I will say, teaching is a good profession when you have kids, I don't have to worry about finding care when they're out of school and stuff. It will be pretty nice.
With the girl I kept my cool for awhile. Then I totally lost my temper. I am glad that my para was in the room so she could see everything that went down, she said she never thought my voice could get so loud and firm haha. I don't know where it came from.
Those first 2-3 months with your baby is so precious ... we should get longer than 6-8 weeks. And the fact that you're willing to work part-time towards the end of your maternity leave is really great on your part. I hope it works out for you.
Would you like the task of finding me a job?? That could entertain you for a while.
I'm currently being entertained by this little website that Mrs.Pink posted. It's freaking me out.
But I will definitely keep my eyes open for you!
After it got it right 3 times in a row I left ... I get too aggravated b/c I can't figure out how the heck it works!
