...is coming to an end.  DH finally got word that he leaves for ODS (officer development school) in mid October and we will be moving to Camp LeJeune, North Carolina by the end of November.

I am going to miss all of you!  So I will definitely need some distraction during the 5 weeks that DH is gone....can we plan a GTG?

    Aww! I'm sorry you'll be leaving us, but you can always stay and chat! :)  No need to leave just because you're heading to LeJeune!  It's a great career move for your DH though, congrats!  Is he in the Marine Corps?  Just curious, as my hubby is in so it's always nice to have a military wife around!

    Anyway, if you ever need anything, we're here! :)

    He is getting commissioned in the Navy as a dentist. The Navy docs and dentists provide care for the Marines, so that is why we are headed to LeJeune. It is exciting but nerve-wracking!

    Definitely no need to leave the board.  I'm glad that you finally know the placement though.  The waiting for that had to be difficult.

    I would love to come up and see you (and everyone) before you leave.

    I think we definitely need a wine GTG!  We had two bottles out of our "wine cellar" (a box in the kitchen) and now our reserves are dwindling.  I need to restock soon and get holiday gifts (mmmm..Tug Boat Red).

    Like the others have said - no need to leave the board just because you're not in PA anymore!  Stacey and Megan and I aren't either, and we're still around!  What an exciting time for you and your H.  While I don't have the kind of lifestyle that you two will have with your H in the military, the moving around is getting pretty second nature to us thanks to DH's career... it's scary, but it can be really fun to be in a new area!  Lots of luck preparing for the move and getting your H off to his school.

    I'm glad you guys finally know where you are headed.  Congrats to your Dh!

    I will definitely still check in with you guys.  I just won't be able to make it to any GTG's after we move.  Totally willing to drive 1 1/2 hours but 10 is a whole other story!  Stick out tongue

    Congrats on knowing where you're going next! I haven't lived in Indiana in six years, but I still check in on their bump board because they're the women I "know" and they'll still have me. It seems like that's one of the nice things about the internet :)

    Oh my goodness!!  That has got to be exciting / nerve wracking!!!  Best wishes with the move.... I am hardly on anymore because of the babies but I like to check in and see how everyone is doing.  I hope you continue to check in!  Best wishes to you and your DH!
