Anyone's firm hirnig clerks/paralegals/potential new attorneys? I took the KY Bar in July and hear back in October. I cannot find anything right now b/c I seem to be either overqualified or underqualified. I have experience with Criminal Law, Social Security, Personal Injury, Immigration. I have interest in family law, but would consider ANYTHING.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Attorneys
I'm sorry I don't know of anything right now. Have you signed up for the Cincinnati Bar Association's career site? I don't think you have to be a member. There are job postings for all 50 states. This might give you some leads for Kentucky. The site is cincybar.org. Go to Non-member Attorneys, then go to Career Center.
Have you talked to your school? I'm assuming it's Chase. Keep in touch with the career counselors there. I know U.C. had a pretty crappy resource center, hopefully yours is better.
Hang in there. The economy is terrible right now for attorneys, but there are always jobs out there. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't get a job until January after the year I graduated and I ended up clerking for a judge. I had several friends that were in your boat too. If I hear of anything, I will certainly page you. Congrats on surviving the bar! Good Luck on the results!!!!
