Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone else on here was Jewish, or was affiliated with Judaism? I only ask, because i'm looking for a Temple to join, and would love any first hand reviews!!!

    I am, but I haven't really found one I like. We were looking at Celebration Jewish Congregation  (reform) but they don't have a temple and I believe meet at various locations. Last year we attended High Holiday services at SW Orlando Congregation (conservative) but it was mostly an older crowd.  They're right next to the new JCC. We still haven't decided where we've going for High Holidays this year. Sorry I'm not much help - if you find one you like, let me know!

    I am not Jewish, but I went to a Planned Parenthood meeting once at Congragation Beth AM in Longwood (i think its a longwood address). The Rabbi spoke at the meeting and I was so amazed by him! I have a Catholic backround and most Priests (or religous leaders with in the faith) are very much against any sort of planned parenthood, so I may have just been amazed at how open minded he was. Perhaps this is the norm for leaders with in the Jewish faith. I went home to my husband that night and told him I thought we should become Jewish as I was so impressed with the Rabbi!!

    Don't know if you're interested, but there's a Jewish young professional group that meets for Happy Hours once a month, along with other events. It's a good way to meet new people, however I haven't made it out much lately because of the baby :)

    They have a link to various temples on their site.

    I've been to a few events - my sister is getting more involved. She just moved to Orlando and it's a good way for her to get out of the house!
