I'm a little sore and really not wanting to be here today.
We had a good weekend, though.
I'm bummed that it's supposed to be 85 and humid today. So much for taking the AC out tonight... that puppy's staying in until we have a few days of 70s!
I also am staying late a few nights this week so I can leave early on Friday to go to Milwaukee for a Brewers game and staying down there. This Saturday is our 6-year anniversary together, so I'm looking forward to the weekend!
I'm tired this morning. David's sick and has kept DH and I up the last few nights. It also doesn't help that I stayed up and watched the Bear's game and went to sleep around 11, to just get woken up by David 45 minutes later.
Tomorrow is a pretty big tax deadline, so hopefully the long hours taper a bit, even though there is another one 10/15.
Oh, and I will officially start stalking NASBA and ILBOA for my cpa score.
Monday, monday. I hate to say this but im ready for the weekend already. I want to hurry time up. I did get to go out to the store for the first time and it was great and i did well but boy i was exhausted when we came home.
Paula, it was 90 here yesterday and my parents said it was like 73 in ohio and i was like ill take that back thank you. Its suppose to cool off here this next weekend and i cant wait, im tired of the A/C i want fresh air. Oh and thank you i totally got a decaf pumpkin spice!
I know - they're claiming tomorrow begins the streak back down into the 70s and more normal weather. I just don't buy it - they pulled this on me LAST WEEK too and I bought it. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me! LOL

I'm super tired from staying up late last night watching the Packers game but it was worth it so I'm okay with it.
Hi girls. I can't believe it's Monday already. I am good, tired as usual but good. We took the AC's out of the window and now I am paranoid it's going to get really hot but I think it's going to be high 70's today and tomorrow and then go down to the 60's for awhile. At this point I am ready for fall weather!
Ugh what a crappy game! I swear Cutler was really Rex Grossman under that helmet. Hate to say it but the Packers deserved that win.
Good morning, I am tired from the weekend and staying up to watch the game. We had a good weekend. I need to detox, big time. I drank way too much beer and ate way too much not so good for me food than I am used to.

Good morning! I'm doing well today. I got up and went to the gym (it felt so good to go again after not going last week). We had a pretty good weekend once MH got over the fact his team lost to my team on Saturday.

I know! I've finally gotten over being super nervous and now I'm excited and very anxious!

Here's what happened. I worked for a woman, T. She was great. We didn't always see eye to eye but I could be honest with her and her me. We had a great relationship. Well, T got a new boss, S, about a year and a half ago. Real jerk. And this guy had it out for her. Well, T was displaced from her job the end of march/beginning of April. In the meantime, S hired someone else to takeover half of T's region. So I now worked for 2 people. This new person is J. I always had a difficult time communicating with J. Would not return my calls or emails. I tried to be in nyc as much as possible, however as my pg progressed it was not as easy. Driving in to nyc is difficult during the week and mass transportation and being pg is not fun. Anyway, when T was displaced a new person was hired to take over part of her region and J took over the rest. So again I still have 2 bosses. Well, I decided to take matters into my hands with J and force him to communicate. I told him that we needed to do a better job of it and I was goingto schedule weekly one on one's with his assistant for 30 mins each. Well, he cancelled every one. I tried to set up separate time to speak about my leave. Again, that was cancelled. What more could I do? I am also friends with our hr person, P. And a few times I asked him what can I do to foster communication? So he knew I was having a difficult time.
Right before I went on leave, I had a weird feeling. See, the person in my job needs to be closely connected with the senior leader. With no communication, it makes doing my job extremely difficult. He's not giving me information and therefore I don't know what he needs or expects. I put in a call to the hr person and he called me back that night. He said funny I should call him because he got a call from his boss. J was complaining about me to P's boss (we will call her S). S called P because she found it to be odd and not like me. P then called J and asked if J has ever had a conversation with me about his expectations. J said no. P told him that since I was getting ready to go out on leave, to wait until I got back. And then have a conversation. I was very upset. And the next day decided, since the dr's wanted this anyway, to go out on disability. I said screw it. So that is what I did. And two weeks later the girls were born.
He is going to make it very difficult for me when I go back. I am sure I will not be receiving a bonus. And they are essentially going to try and force me to quit. Which stinks. If I don't quit, I am sure they are going to put me on a performance plan. And then fire me. I am hoping that they move my job permanently to nyc. If they do that, then that is considered a change in job and I can say give me my severance. The other day I got a call from J's asst. And I unleashed on her and I know I shouldn't have. But he was pissed about the way something I transitioned to someone was being handled (essentially the person is being lazy). And I basically told J's asst that if J had bothered to take any of my meetings, then he would have been aware.
I understand he probably wants someone in my job who comes from the company he came from and has worked with for a while. I get it. But, to tarnish my good reputation is uncalled for. I have zero respect for him. I would have more respect for him if he had the balls the have an honest conversation with me and we could figure out the best solution for both of us.
So I have had this hanging over my head during my maternity.
Kristi, I'm so frustrated for you and I'm not even in the picture!! I hope you can find some resolution, and thankfully you've got a good reputation going in - enough that others (like P & P's boss) know something's not right!
