how was the tri? I did my first (also a sprint) just last month
which legs did you like most/least? any plans to do another one some day? (i'm not sure if i will - or just stick to doing each even separately, hah)
congrats!!
Re: go kshiz!!
Thanks Sandra! Each of the legs was equally difficult. The order was Swim, Bike, Run.
I only have a mountain bike w/ knubby tires, combine that with 1/2 of the ride being uphill and on top of that it was out in the plains of CO so you had a wind in you're face the whole time, needless to say it was the "wrong" direction.
I did have to walk for part of the run. I absolutely want to do another one. Once I saw how poor my actual time was, which I promised myself i wouldn't judge myself on (although that's easier said than done), the guy that won the whole thing did it in 55 minutes...me? 2 hours!
I told Rob that I wanted to do the same distances without being in an actual "race" just to see if I could beat it. The funny thing is, I started the Couch to 5k running program 3.5 months ago, the first day of that program, you do intervals of only run 60 second runs and 90 second walks, and in all honesty, that first day of that program was equally as challenging as the tri was, so I have to give myself some credit for how much I've progressed.
What about you? Any plans for a full?
Cerclage placed @ 21w6d due to CI (IC)

Congrats KShiz! You SHOULD give yourself TONS of credit!! And be sooooo proud of yourself! That's awesome that you, in order of priority: (1) didn't die; (2) didn't throw up; and (3) finished!

Be so proud of yourself! From learn to run to sprint tri in 3.5 months! You are an inspiration!!!
