My girlfriend was here a week or so ago, and so I bought a basket of peaches because she loves them. There are still 12 or so left. I am not a huge fresh peach person (the fur creeps me out, and they are too messy/juicy LOL) I don't want them to go to waste, so I want to use them up. But I don't want to make them into something fattening.
HELP!!!
Re: What to do with peaches?
My dad hates the fuzz as well. When we were kids, he'd always blanch them in boiling water for 30-60 second and the skin would come right off.
Other than that, I love grilled peaches - on pork chops, in a salad, with ice cream - yummy!
mmm all of those sound great!
And I love peaches. Now I'm going to go peach crazy!
