What did you think of his outburst? Do you think it was planned?
I understand he has an opinion but it was totally disrespectful!

Re: Kanye at VMA
i know there are lots of people who are all like "eh, he was an ass, but he was right?
not. the. point.
it's all about timing. if he'd said this at any other point during the show, or during interviews or whatever, it wouldn't have mattered as much. but he chose THAT particular moment to completely steal the spotlight WHILE SHE WAS ACCEPTING THE AWARD to spew his classless venom. it was completely inappropriate, unacceptable, inexcusable, and only proved what a douchenozzle he really is. i don't care if he's a "great artist," he doesn't deserve my respect for it, never had it and never will.
I think he just proved why he's a douche. Even if B's video was better, saying it onstage in front of millions while the girl is accepting her award is just plain a-hole behavior! I was so angry on Taylor's behalf but I loved that Beyonce let her have her moment at the end.
I've removed all Kanye songs from iTunes...including ones he's just featured in. He is dead to me!
Kanye is free to say whatever he wants, but as Wan eloquently expressed, timing is everything. That was not the appropriate time or place for such comments.
H & I felt horrible for Taylor Swift; she looked like someone had kicked her puppy. Props to Beyonce for rising above it and giving Taylor a chance to finish her speech.
I don't think it was staged; the camera work got a little crazy and disjointed immediately afterwards. I do wonder though how Kanye just stormed the stage like that. Don't they have bouncers near the stage? Or did he just get a pass since he's Kanye?
i bet it's this. and that's crap. knowing it WAS kanye, they should've expected that he wasn't exactly going to do/say something positive. but it sure boosted their ratings, so who cares if they stepped on a 19-year-old on the way?
i think it's the mother hen in me who's also just so bothered by this. yeah, she's out in the spotlight, a public figure, totally vulnerable to things like that. but i can't help but want to give her a big ass hug - while her music isn't for everyone, she really is a very talented girl who's worked hard to get where she is. and when ryan seacrest said that she went backstage after nailing her performance (after the kanye incident) and cried, i just wanted to run kanye over with my car. and then back up and do it again.
I didn't watch the VMAs but between FB updates and the radio stations this morning, sounds like Kayne was an asshat last night. However, it appears that Beyone came out like class itself and put things somewhat back in order. I really enjoy the guy that writes Movable Buffet for the LA Times (a blog about all things Vegas) and he has a really nice tribute article to her today.

I love Movable Buffet! Thanks for sharing, what a lovely tribute!
I also deleted his music from my ipod. I think he's the most egotistical a-hole on the planet.
I have no motherly instinct, but when I heard that on the radio this morning I got really upset too. I was really amazed though that Taylor Swift nailed her performance right after being humiliated on the stage. She's got a bright future ahead of her.
