Re: It's Monday morning!
Have fun Meag!
My weekend was good, uneventful. We started clearing out the back bedroom for the nursery. I'm ready to be done with it already (we actually don't have all that much to do).
I'm so ready for the weekend already. I'm tired and don't really feel like being at work today, my boss went home sick and they sent another girl home because she brought her daughter in and they think she has the swine flu. Ugh.
Had a nice weekend (never long enough though!!!).
Saturday, we just continued to do a lot fo things around the house - cleaning, cooking, baking, re-organizing the kithcen and DH working on the closet.
Sunday - DH finished the closet for the nursery(!!!), I cooked in the morning, went to a luncheon with friends in the afternoon and DH and I went to our town street fair later in the day.

Also a nice weekend, also NOT long enough!
We caught up on a lot at the farm and had 4 new baby calves throughout the weekend. Also, we've been meaning to go fishing off our dock all summer, about a 2 minute walk from our house.
So.. at around 9 pm last night when it was getting dark, we fished for about an hour. I got a new rod and reel, very cheap, but still fun to fish with. I don't know much about fishing really, so DH was busy helping me. We didn't catch anything, but we heard fish splashing out in the water so we know they are out there...
Jena -if you are reading this, I thought of you and your DH and how much you love fishing when we were out on the dock in the dark trying to catch something! Any fishing tips for me? It's a deep, cold lake, about 3,000 where we can catch walleye, northern pike, bass, perch and a few other fish.
Sorry - meant to put it's about 3,000 acres. Today has been so hectic I don't really have time to be on the nest, but I couldn't resist writing about our fishing "trip!"
LOL Thanks for thinking of me! Sorry I have no tips for you. I have no experience fishing northern freshwater... i don't even think we have walleye or northern pike here.. We very rarely ever fish freshwater- DH fishes fresh more then me.
I suck at fishing... lol the last 3 times we've gone I haven't caught anything
I just don't have the patience. If we aren't catching anything I get in the car and go to sleep. I just can't stay up all night if there is nothing going on. I can barely stay up if there is something going.
Our weekend was good, and packed with busy-ness.
Saturday H went to a habitat for humanity house building thing. I stayed at home and took Wyatt to get some of his shots. Then I had to pack and get ready for my cousins rehearsal & rehearsal dinner over at Disney, Sat night. It went pretty well. It was amazingly humid and just gross outside. She got married at Shades of Green hotel on the disney property. After the rehearsal dinner Chris dropped me off at the hotel and he went home. All the bridal party stayed at the hotel. It was fun. It was our last night with my cousin (She is moving to Cali when they get back from their HM). Sunday was the wedding at 2. It was super sweet. They had an outside ceremony...it rained up until about 130. Super lucky that it quit raining right in time. I cried alot...lol. I didn't do to bad during the ceremony, or during the reception. But after the reception the DJ asked everyone to go outside to send off the bride & groom, and she asked the bridal party & the parents to stay inside. then my cousin and her husband busted out a ballroom dance. OMG it was so sweet & amazing. I was totally shocked and I totally balled. Lol...ridiculous. But i was like OMG this is really over and she is really moving. Then we went out and blew bubbles and they got in their limo and left and then I really cried. Me & her mom stood there and cried. Oh it was soo sad. H was like, "Why are you crying?" I said "bccc she isn't coming baaaaccckkkk".... LOL, just thinking about it makes me want to cry all over again. ----- Her DH is a marine and he is stationed in 29 palms cali. They've had a long distance relationship this whole time and now she is moving out there w/ him.
