siesta Key vacation?
These last couple of weeks have been pretty tough for us with the m/c, the food poisoning and a night in the ER we need some vacation time, and what better time for a weekend getaway. I am thinking 9/26-9/28 and its still low season.
I have heard great reviews of Siesta Key, any recs? we really do not want to spend more than $145 a night.
Or if you have another location that is less than 3.5 hour drive from the Doral area.

Re: siesta Key vacation?
I personally can't say enough about Siesta Key!!!!
I posted on my blog a detailed review and pictures of it and I also posted on Trip advisor about the places we ate etc.
Too much information to type here. We went over Labor Day weekend and stayed at the Lido Beach Resort which I am going to post on Tripadvisor about next. You can e-mail me or pm me to view my blog etc. and get details or just to ask me questions.
I say GO!!!!!!!! The drive is not to long, the beach is the #2 behing a beach in Hawaii. I would go back this weekend if I could. Powdered sugar sand- cool to the touch. OH MY!
