Anyone else think this is wrong?
Re: Anyone else think this is wrong?
I don't really think it's all that funny - I think it's kind of disrespectful of people trying to make a buck off his death. (Of course, that's completely acceptable, apparently!)
If it was out last year, no, I don't think it's all that wrong. But I highly doubt it was out last year, so yes, I agree - sick and wrong!
I don't know if it was out last year. I don't think it was but I wasn't looking for children's costumes. But they also have a dog version, toddler, child, and adult. I was looking for costumes last year and didn't come across it last year. But who knows.
You're right. It is disrespectful.
Really... I'm all for taking a crack at Hollywood figures. I mean, we went as Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky one year and would do it again because it was a riot!
But after JFK was shot, I hope no one had the bad taste to walk around in a costume of him.
It really shows the lack of respect, IMO, that we've adopted as normal when something like this is put out and sells.
(Now if people go as MJ for Halloween while he was in his prime, that's one thing because people have done that before. But I can imagine there are going to be some very crude adjustments in light of his passing that will be made that I just won't allow myself to fully think about.)
