Anyone Used Kindle App on iPhones?

I am planning to switch from a BlackBerry to an iPhone soon.  I have been wanting an Amazon Kindle FOREVER, it seems!!!!  I was really excited to hear that iPhones have a Kindle application.  Has anyone used it?  Do you like it?  My biggest concern is that the screen would be too small for reading extensive amounts of material in one sitting.  WDYT?

Re: Anyone Used Kindle App on iPhones?

  • I do and it's fabulous!  Very easy to read (adjustable size text), can be read vertically or horizontally (more shorter lines vs. fewer longer lines of text)... downloading books is super easy - I have no complaints!
  • I have a sony reader but also decided to put the kindle app on my phone.

It is great.  It's really nice for when I'm in line somewhere or at the dr.'s office waiting around.  And it allows me to buy the books I want that the sony store does not have.

Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

"Ew. I've read all of two posts from you, and you stink like rotting garbage."
  • I have it. I don't use it a lot (only on the plane when I travel) but I do like it.

  • I like it, but I don't think I could sit and read it for hours because the screen is small.  I have started getting the "free" first chapter of books to see if I will like them, then I usually end up reading a hard copy.
  • i don't, but i use dailylit.com to send installments of books to my email address and i read them on my blackberry all the time... and i don't have any issues with the screen being too small.
