Grey's Anatomy watchers
Any sites that will give me a recap of last season? I was too tired & pregnant to stay up that late to watch it. Then we switched from Comcast to Verizon so I lost the episodes I had on DVR.
Or if anyone wants to help catch me up...
Izzy has brain cancer? Surgery during the season finale?
Is George not coming back? Where are they saying he's going?
Did George and Meredith's sister hood up?
Do Meredith and McDreamy live together? Are they getting married?
George's exwife- I forget her name. Is she a lesbian now?

Christina and a new doctor are hooking up?

Izzy had a brain tumor, it got removed and while she was sick she planned Mer/Der's wedding. Except in the end, they let Izzie marry Alex. Mer/Der are married too.
George joined the army, but before he left he was hit by a bus and is dying (i think they plan on donating his organs coming up)
Mer's sister is hooking up with McSteamy now
Christina is dating the new doctor Owen, but he's suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome
And Callie is now a lesbian

Ang pretty much hit the big stuff. Mer/Der didn't really do their official wedding...in the finale they did a "Post-It" Wedding writing their vows down on post-its and then did the "kiss the bride".
Callie is dating the one Peds surgery resident (?) named Arizona...Bailey was pursuing a Peds fellowship but apparently is turning it down because her husband has threatened divorce (or something of that effect).
The SGH staff didn't realize George was the "John Doe" who got hit by the bus because he was so disfigured. It was at the end that Mer was holding his hand and he traced out "007" onto her hand and they realized it was him. The very end showed George and Izzy "meeting" in a dream like sequence where George is in full army dress...(basically signifying from earlier episodes where Mer almost died and saw the visions in the morgue of her mother, etc) but the elevator door shuts before anything else.
We know George is officially dead since he left the show but from something I read for the upcoming season is that Izzie is alive but there are now issues with her and Alex from their quickie wedding.
According to the new US mag...Katherine Heigl is going to miss some episode while she films a movie, Ellen Pompeo will be off for a while on maternity leave, and there are apparently 3 new people joining the cast.
this sums up everything pretty well.
if you want to catch last seaon's finale two hour episode, i believe it is airing this thursday.
I just watched the teaser on the website...it was really good. Has anyone else watched it, at the end they were saying that it may not be George?!?
I think I need to catch up after not really watching last season either. I am excited to rot my brain with tv!

I had to laugh at your post, Christina - having a baby made me miss the 2nd half the Gray's season, too. I started cathcing up last week (the Alex/Izzy wedding), but I had to ask folks to spoil it for me. I'm looking forward to the new seaon, too!
DH keeps promising me a FreeVo (Do it yourself PC DVR) but I'm not holding my breath.
I've been avoiding this post b/c I hadn't finished watching last season either! I found a website that has all of the episodes for free!!! If you want to actually see everything...
