Mine was pretty good.
Saturday just kind of lazed around. Finally went in to the city to have brunch and found a super yummy place on the LES. We were going to do a movie but i started fading fast so we headed home instead and i took a 3hr nap! Then we started watching season one of Veronica Mars.
Sun; lazed around again. Did some light grocery shopping. DH chatted with his brothers. Packed a picnic and headed to the High Line. It was alright. It was pretty crowded and a bit anticlimactic.
So then we headed to Central Park to enjoy our picnic and it was really nice!! So many cute babies and puppies out enjoying the day! Then we came back and just chilled. I read a magazine, DH talked with his parents, we watched the Red Sox game on the computer, we chatted a bit more about having kids, then went to bed!

Re: How was your weekend?
Sounds like a nice weekend!
We were mostly sick the entire weekend, Sasha was at my parents' house. Saturday we were both mopy and miserable, lol; but by Sunday, DH was feeling better and even went out to get us some breakfast and took care of me. We just hung out a lot. Oh, and slept in both days, it was really nice!
Hope everybody else's weekend was better than ours.

OMG my weekend was soooo busy...
Friday night I had rehearsal with my dance company for the bellydance boat ride we did on Sunday.
Saturday I went to Great Adventure with DH and a friend of mine who works for Pfizer - it was Pfizer day, so the park was closed for the company only. It was so empty, we went on ever roller coaster multiple times. Which was fun, but we realized sometimes it's good to have lines - gives you time to rest in between rides! We all felt so sick by the end of the day! And we had gone on everything we wanted to go on by 4:30!
Sunday morning I taught my class, then drove to the city for my bellydance boat ride - which was a big success, so much fun! But holy sea sickness! That boat was ROCKING! One of my dancers puked in boat bathroom...Then I taught another class at the studio by my house, and then came home and passed out from exhaustion.
My weekend was just meh!
Friday: didnt go to work, went to the doc's
Saturday: went to run some errands in the a.m. DH worked on the kitchen with 2 guys. We ordered in pizza and crashed later in the evening.
Sunday: the plumber for our backed up sewer returns with a bigger equipment (snake) and discovers roots in our sewer. A new contractor comes over and he might be able to work with our budget. I am submitting his paperwork today. Fingers crossed! Later in the afternoon I cook a yummy Caribbean style lunch, iron some clothes, and crash!

Saturday was a really busy day. I had a workshop and a meeting for two different jobs. That lasted from 9-3. Then I went to the J. Crew sample sale and bought some fall items. Check it out if you have time. Then I ran down to the restaurant where I worked this summer to pick up some money. No one was excited to see me. It sucked. Oh well. Then I came home and crashed.
Sunday was much better. I had brunch with an old knottie friend (burlingtonbride for those of you who remember) in Brooklyn Heights at a cute little restaurant. Then we walked on the promenade and checked out her new apartment for a little while. Then I came home and watched the rest of the Jets game with my husband (they won!), we finished the laundry, got our rings cleaned and then headed to Red Hook to the vedors there for dinner. At night we watched True Blood (a little disappointing, no?). All in all, a good weekend.
Jenn: I'm sorry to hear about your friend's Stepdad...very sad. =(
Got home from DW last night...the end. =/
My weekend was sort of uneventful, like most of the weather. Friday night, I was beat after just a three-day work week. (I swear the shorter weeks can be just as brutal as the full, five days)! I ordered in Chinese and vegged out on the sofa watching movies until DH came home from work at midnight.
Saturday: I pretty much did chores and ran a couple errands and relaxed most of the day. I cooked a great, spicy pot of chili that's enough to knock out any brewing cold!
Sunday: Went to church and took my little cousin-in-law to a local food and arts fair and had a great time soaking up the last bits of summer with delish Italian ices.
