I'm already over today (Good Morning)

The good news is that today is payday for me. Yay!

What's new with you guys?

Re: I'm already over today (Good Morning)

  • I"m exhausted...I know, I know...what else is new, right?  Sarah decided that it was time to start her day at 1:10am...yup...1:10am!  After a diaper and a full sippy cup of milk, she finally fell asleep at about 3:30am, in our bed, which meant C and I couldn't get back to sleep.  I can't get my eye to stop twitching...

We had a good time at the park last night...it was nice and cool out - we loved it!

No big plans today...just work with lots of meetings.

Hope everyone has a great day!

  • I so did not want to get out of bed today. Still feeling pretty crappy.  We've been watching alot of True Blood - just have the finale to watch tonight!! I also wouldn't mind checking out a Halloween store this afternoon. I need to look for L's costume.
  • Being sick sucks. At least it was cooler so you could bundle up a little.  I need to look for Mary's costume too. I am having a hard time deciding on what she will be. Plus I really want to try and get something she can wear 2 years in a row.
  • Not looking forward to all my meetings and the 2 hr training session this afternoon today blah!

Yesterday had PT after work and my knees feeling a lot better. Dunkin was being really skiddish yesterday and kept getting spooked at everything so he spent ALL.NIGHT.BARKING! Seriously drove at my last nerve.

Nothing exciting today besides not fun meetings and a drs appt.

  • That reminds me Noush. Last night Mary woke up so I went in to check on her. Came back and on my way back in I closed my bedroom door (which I never do) and I was in my bathrob (which I rarely wear). I scared Bo to death. He started barking at me like I was breaking in the joint (looking back I am lucky he didn't try to bite me or something). I felt so bad that I scared him so much but I was also so happy that he became a guard dog.

I'm having a hard time deciding too. I've seen some super cute monkey and dragon costumes, but there are some disney ones I saw last year that were awesome. I need to check out the outlet.

Dunkin did the same thing to H last night too, lights were out and he didnt recognize H when he was coming down the stairs so he went nuts.

Has Bo become more protective since you had Mary? I hear dogs do that sometimes when there are babies in the house.

  • Ditto being over with today. Something must be up with the animals lately because my cat kept just sitting in the hallway meowing all night. I'd get up to see what was wrong and she's just look at me. Drove me crazy. Tonight she gets one shot and she's being thrown into the bathroom for the night.

This morning my boss said I need to have my office door open for business when I come in at 5:30 in the morning for customers. The other people that work in this building don't even come in until 6:30 let alone an actual customer coming in that early. I like having my door closed to I can have the lights low, listen to my music and get used to the day. I always have it open by 6:15-30 at the latest. So annoyed.

Um, not really. He lets Mary do whatever she wants though. She pulls on him and hits him and he just lays there and takes it. I am so happy and amazed how much they (esp Bo) love her. And how much she loves them. When I put them outside she will crawl to the slider, stand up and bang on the slider. I swear if she could talk she would say "LET THEM IN!"

But Bo has always been pretty protective of me. Particularly when H isn't home. When H worked nights last year I could never sleep because Bo was up all night barking at everything little thing. A person walking, a cat down the street, a leaf flying in our general direction....he's pretty much the same now. Luckily H is home at night now.

That is the most random think Melinda. What's the big deal about a door? :(

  • ditto, ditto, ditto!

By the time P got home, we played a few games of sudoku (he's never played before) regardless, I won 2-0 woot! woot! Then for whatever reason we decided to stay up talking about how living w/out cheese would be a terrible idea. homemade mac n cheese, grilled cheese, cheese tamales *drool*

this is what happens when sleep deprivation hits you.

  • Yay for payday! That's what I love about Thursdays =)

I have to run to Barnes & Noble to pick up the book I reserved for MIL for her birthday. Then at 1:50 I have a doctor's appointment.

hehe it started because I made him a veggie sandwich (he ran out of lunch meat) so I asked if he liked it. that went from "if you had to live w/out red meat or cheese, which would you chose?" it was a very deep conversation. In the end, cheese won.

  • me too! It's a good thing I'm done with work already. Lsat night was just hanging out with the kids. Today more of the same. Isabel just got a new drawing pad so I'm sure I'll have drawings everywhere today.

Brandy-that's great. DH and I once had a heated debate over which was more "real" dora the explorers backpack or diego's knapsack.

This seriously needs to be a skit. Kind of like "here's your sign" except "signs you know sleep deprivation has kicked in" lol

Well, at least you know, in case it ever comes up. Smile
