So, my car was hit a few weeks ago in my (PRIVATE) parking lot at work. I have a specific company I have to use to get it fixed. All the paperwork has gone through. The guy called me last week to set up an appointment but I was gone when he called. He then called again yesterday. He keeps calling my house even though the number the insurance company has is my cell phone. I can't explain that.
SO I call him a few minutes ago when I had some down time. He was "in the shop" and the girl went to find him. I was on hold for FIFTEEN minutes! FIFTEEN! I do have other things to do. Finally, I hung up.
I just called my home voicemail and he left a message saying he knew I Had called but apparently he wasn't fast enough for me. No kidding you weren't fast enough!
Oh, and I called back and guess what? He's left for the day. Two minutes after leaving me a message???
Re: I hate repair shops
I had to call an insurance company and had been playing phone tag with them for a few days. I was beyond pissed after never talking to anyone in charge so I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and of course got voicemail. I left a message and she calls back 2 days later and leaves a message at like 11:15 saying she got message and will be out of the office for the next week but I can call back before she leaves at 11:30. To this day I've still not been able to get ahold of her.
Jen: You'd love it if you were here with me when I tell the story. It usually starts out like this:
So, my car was minding it's own business, parked in it's own spot in my PRIVATE parking lot...
haha.
I can picture it...you are talking at a normal pitch then suddenly yell "PRIVATE" and then keep talking....lol.
How annoying!
On a side note though I sometimes call people I don't want to talk to right before I leave work for the day. That way if I leave them a message and they call me right back I'm already gone.
