How was everyone's night? Anything big planned for today?
Sarah slept thrugh the night (until 5am) so C and I are fairly rested this morning, yay!
Just have work today then Jr League tonight. Nothing too eventful.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Re: Happy Wednesday!
Good morning. H and I got in a fight last night. It's been awhile so I guess we were due, but I feel horrible because today is his birthday.
Thank God L slept better last night - until 4 and only got up once. I'm still exhausted though. We watched the last episode of True Blood - now I have to wait a year for the nest season, booo! At least that gives me time to read all the books.
Lori - yay for sleep!
Kristy - Sorry, fights suck. Any plans for his b-day?
morning
K: fights suck. hopefully things work out.
B: woo hoo!
R: I've always wanted to go/view my family tree, but it cost too much.
Our night was good. P got home early (9:30 woo hoo) so we watched More to Love finale. hehe Go team Talie! I used some meds on C gums, and he didn't wake up until this morning (and we had to wake him up). So I dont' feel like a zombie at my desk. :P
They have free version, where you can enter all the info you want about family and use it for record keeping. You just can't view historical records but it will still give you a summary like for example, if you searched your grandpa it might pull up the 1930 census and it will still list all the people who lived at that residence and their ages. But you can't read the actual document.
Also, they do offer a free trial of the paid membership for a month which is what I did. I looked up as much info as possible. Then when the month was over I switched to the free membership.
Since my parents are here I paid for one month so we can look at the historical docs and I will print them all out and then switch back to the free membership once the month is over.
It's all about working the system!
Sounds like everyone is well rested today!
Kristy - sorry to hear about the fight but happy bday to your H!
Last night made yummy tacos and went for a walk with the pup. We started watching the new season of BL but I was tired and went to bed early so I am as well well rested today =D
Tonight have a PT appt and then the normal boring stuff.
Kristy~ Sorry about the fight. Those just suck.
Becki~ Glad you got some sleep! Hopefully, he'll keep it up enough for you all to get better.
Robyn~How is the visit with your aprents going? My mom is huge on the family tree stuff. It's been her hobby for years, she literally plans vacations to go to old cemetaries and do research.
Brandy~Drugging the baby!
Glad you got some sleep!!
Ok, I hope that's everyone.
Last night was nice and quiet. We actually stayed home the whole night, which is an improvement. I kept up on my attempts to keep exercising again. I'm trying to rotate between the Fit and 30DS, so we'll see how that goes.
Nothing else really exciting happening. We've pretty much seen every house in our price range in our areas so there isn't much to do but wait for more to come up at this point. So at least we get a little break.
My little space heater under my desk has a short in it, so it keeps turning off, which means I'll have to probably go buy a new heater tonight or else I'll die in my freezing office. That's about it for the exciting life of Melinda. Tune in tomorrow for further updates.
Brandy - what did you give C? I want to try the teething tablets, but they never have them at Target and I dont get to CVS very often and when I do I don't remember to check.
Melinda - How cold is it in your office??? I hate when they keep things that cold, its ridiculous.
It was in my parents survial kit. I think it's little teethers by home remedies? I tried it before giving him some, it just gives a little tingle than numbs.
I am glad everyone got the sleep that I missed last night. I didn't sleep at all.
Last night we celebrated my dad's birthday with a big, loud, family dinner (at home thank goodness). I forget how much I love my family sometimes! Their craziness is endearing.
Today I want to head to the library and pick up some new books and I need to take H's shoes to the cobbler to be re-soled. Then tonight I think H is taking me out for sushi!
Becki~ Its about 65 degrees in here, and I'm not even exagerating. It's either 65 or 95, there is no in between, and I never know when I come in which it'll be. And with my killer hot flashes it really makes it interesting. I'll be fanning myself off when eveyone else is wearing jackets and gloves!
Robyn~ That's awesome. I'm sure just getting to hang out after it being so long since you've seen them is fun, even staying home. My family can drive me nuts, but I can't imagine being away from them for so long. Glad you are having a good time.
HA!
Morning. We went to the Pirate Adventure show by knotts last nght, so fun!
I just finished a newborn session and blogged it. I'm running out the door to the post office to mail some orders for Jason.
Kristy- sorry to hear about your fight. I know what you mean about feeling like one is due when you haven't fought in awhile.
My day has been pretty good, except for a few minor things. The A/C at my school sucks; Monday it was 85 in my room, yesterday it was 76-79, today it is 66!! My hands are frozen!
Also, I have a co-teacher in my 1st period 7th grade lang arts class because 1/3 of the class is designated as RSP (mild learning disabilites). I was presenting a power point today and asked her to model the notes on chart paper, so the kids would know exactly what to write. I went over it with her in advance, and was as clear as I could be. She totally screwed it up!! UGH! I wanted to smack her. She has never taught 7th grade LA before and does NOTHING as a co teacher. vent over
no big plans tonight...or anytime soon. I really need a paycheck!
We've done the Pirate dinner a few times. It is a lot of fun. What team were you on?
Give him some make up sex!
Last night I made turkey tacos for dinner and we watched the first episode of Lost. We've never seen the show, so we are going to watch season 1 and eventually catch up on the current season.
Tonight is much the same, except dh will do the cooking.
We had the orange (only non-buff) pirate : ) I wish we had the blue pirate though *swoon*. We scored a great deal on the tickets, $20.09 each through Oct 1st with code S2009!
