Hi Ladies,
My wireless router stinks, and I really want a new one for my house. Any recommendations you have would be great!
TIA.

We had this one for a few months shy of 5 years:

We upgraded to this one in May of this year:

Second that, you definitely want 802.11N to be more future proof. Will still work with older wifi cards, and provide the best throughput for newer ones.

We have a D-Link AirPlus Extreme G VDI-624...we've had it for over 3 years without any issues.
i have this one and love it http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LIFB7S/ref=ox_ya_oh_product
That's a shame. The WRT54G was the gold standard for years. We have two currently running in our house and I can't tell you the last time either was rebooted. Then again, they are just dummy access points in our environment... hmm.
I also want to add that if you happen to have a Mac, the new Time Capsule is also a fantastic dual-band router.
Even if you don't have a Mac, the Airport Extreme is an all-around great router. It's pretty much the Time Capsule without the built-in hard drive. It's what we use and have used for the past three years and haven't had any issues with it.
I wouldn't mind switching to a new one for the dual-band capability, mostly because 802.11n doesn't offer the fast speeds it is capable of if any 802.11b/g devices are connected to it.
