digital photo frame recs?
we're planning to get digital photo frames for the grandparents (and us) for x-mas. ?i don't want to spend more then $100 per frame. ?i'll preload the sd cards w/ pics for the family. ?it doesn't have to be anything too fancy like include clock/calendar, but it would be fine. ?the cheaper the better, but good photo quality (megapixels over ease of use).?
Re: digital photo frame recs?
One option to consider is the T-Mobile Cameo. It's a digital picture frame that effectively has a phone number, so after you pre-load it with images and send it off to the grandparents, you can MMS new pictures to it from your phone (or I think via e-mail, not sure).
I wanted to get that for my parents, but they don't live in an area with T-Mobile coverage (Middle of nowhere), so it wasn't an option.
Note that it's not available for purchase online. You have to go into a T-Mobile store to buy it.
For good photo quality, you'll want a screen that outputs 800x600. I bought this one:

for the wife a year ago, but amazon says there's a newer version at the following:

I love Samsung's LCD products (have 2 HDTVs and the digi-frame), they produce beautiful pictures.
