* I had a great birthday on Monday. I wasn't expecting it to be very exciting (who cares about turning 28?), but my friends and family made it very memorable and DH surprised me by taking me to the Jason Mraz concert.
* I got a new vehicle on Sunday. I have never really cared too much about what I drive as long as it gets me from point A to point B, but I seriously love this car. It's a big upgrade from my sad little Sentra with the rear-ended bumper
- We FINALLY got a little vacation planned. We are just going to road trip it down to Austin and San Antonio. It's not California like I wanted, but hey, one of us has to be sensible with the money and it's just not me when it comes to traveling! But the good news is really I'm happy with just about anything.
- I am in a much better mood today.
- My best friend should be able to bring her twin boys home today finally! Not for sure yet but hopefully...they have been in the nicu for almost 3 weeks.
I also got a new car this week. I got a Chrysler 300 and am liking it so far.
I am running a 20k this weekend at the Tour des Fleurs at the Dallas Arboretum. This is my longest run ever but I have been training pretty good for it so I am excited to see how I do.

Mallory slept 6.5 hours last night! Yay!
We also found out that we get to come home for Christmas this year!!!!!! Yay!!! I'm so excited! I thought I wasn't going to get to come back to the states for a visit until next April or so, but now I found out that our schedule has changed a bit and we can come home at the holidays! I seriously can't wait to see everyone and show off my Mallory!!
