Update

Had a dr's appt this morning, and happy to say all went well.  Like I said before, my reg ob is on vacay, so I saw another ob today.  She is actually really good and more thorough than my reg ob.  She checked me for placenta previa, and said she couldn't see or feel the placenta covering my cervix.  To confirm this, she called in another ob to do a 2nd u/s, and he, too did not see the placenta covering the cervix.  They concluded that on Monday I must have had lots of blood clots, and often times they look like the placenta.  In fact, from today's u/s, the placenta is actually high up now!  The baby's hb was great and she was very active as always.  Unfortunately, I have not made any progress, and I am still 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced.  She then went ahead and scheduled me for induction on my due date, which is the 26th.  Just like Val, we are hoping she will come before then.  Thanks for your prayers ladies.  I feel so much better today knowing the baby is ok.  Although I was more than ready to have a c/s for the sake of the baby, I would rather not get another surgery.  Oh, on the funny side... when I first got to the dr's office they mentioned that if I had c/s today, my former ob who did my D&C last year would be the one doing the c/s.  I was so happy to hear that she would be the one doing the c/s that I almost elected to have one done today.  My DH thought I have gone crazy!

Gotta go drink some tea, jump on exercise balls, walk, get a massage...
