AW: Photographer coming today!!!
As if ... We don't already have enough cute pictures of baby Alexa!
But mommy decided that even though taking my own maternity pictures was good enough for me, it was NOT good enough for my beautiful princess!!!
I had previously researched baby photographers. But my top choice, a woman recommended by the DC Nesties, was BOOKED all of September!
Still, on a whim, I e-mailed, then called her right after Alexa was born. Since Alexa was a week late, her schedule was different than when I initially inquired... And she had on opening on Friday! Today!

UPDATE: The photo shoot was postponed until Monday. Arg!
Unfortunately, the photographer's 2-year-old son was up all night sick and so she couldn't take him to daycare and it wouldn't be good for her to come over and work with a newborn after being with a sick child anyway.
DH had already taken today off of work, so we just went for a nice walk and used the stroller for the first time instead! He's off on Monday anyway, so that'll work.
Stay tuned! I am so siked for the shoot!
In the meantime, we did a little mini photo shoot ourselves this morning. I knew Alexa was all excited and I didn't want her to be sad about postponing! ;-) Pics from that will be up in my blog within the hour...

Sorry it got postponed.... but YAY!!! How exciting! Can't wait to see the photos from little Alexa's first "official" photoshoot! And at least you and YH were able to go out for a lovely walk today!
