Ghost tours?

Does anyone know of any good non-haunted house activities like ghost tours?  Haunted houses have sent me into a panic since I was a kid so those are out.  I can't believe it's almost Fall & Halloween time!

  • I don't know if this goes along with what you're looking for, but I love going to corn mazes in the fall. There are some really good ones the dayton area!
  • I am embarrassed to say how many times I have had to be escorted out of haunted houses. Have you thought about doing a corn maze. I love them! Then again I am a weirdo.

  • We did one in Savannah, GA and even though we didn't see anything, it was so cool to do.  I didn't have any idea they had any around here.  Hmm, looks like another fall must-do!

This is not a haunted house- it's an old hospital with history and you take tours, I hear its one of the areas best, and I have seen it featured on the ghost hunters show.  They have a overnight, half night or 2 hour tour.  The half night and full night tours though always book up fast-they are paranormal tours!  The 2 hour is more of a historical one.

  • this isn't a ghost tour but you should check out the walking gangster tour in Newport.  My husband and I went on it a few weeks ago and it was really cool.  There website is http://www.newportgangsters.com/.  We both really enjoyed it and had no idea that Newport KY used to be sincity.  THey did say they were going to a host tour or something in the future where you go inside the old speak easys so you might check it out!

LOL, My Dad recently was talking to me about how decrepit Newport used to be- hookers, strippers gangs...he said it was very nasty there back in the day.

  • We had no idea!  The tour was pretty cool...says that there was even gang related activity happening in the 70's and 80s!
