Re: Weekend plans?
I didn't want to go first because I have no plans! DH will be on the go all the weekend, and my BFF is still in Florida. Maybe I'll hit up the red box for some chick flicks and make the apple crisp recipe I've been wanting to try.
OH! I am going shopping this evening. Maybe that will lift my mood.

We are having some coworkers over for dinner tonight then going out to do a pub crawl. There's a lot of little dive bars in the town we live so I'm looking forward to it.
Tomorrow and Sun. DH works so I will get to relax and recover from a crazy week.
(1) Commenting on diagnostic essays about the poem "London" by Blake.
(2) Lesson planning for three classes (Speech, Writing, British Lit.)
(3) Preparing two presentations - one about Lit. Crit. about the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, one about the negotiation of being both a writing tutor and a writing instructor
(4) Reading over 200 pages of lit theory and pedagogy (for class)
(5) Studying for the GRE Subject Test in Literature
(6) Writing a second draft of my thesis proposal
(7) Laundry and other household chores
Anyone want to trade?
Tonight DH is playing an open mic night. I should go since I bailed on the one he did last night.
Tomorrow is farmer's market, a podiatrist appt., bikini wax and microdermabrasion, and taking my bridesmaid dress for alterations.
Sunday is brunch with friends, cleaning house, and doing laundry.
Friday: Hurry home and nap/watch Tivo for a bit before we are meeting friends for dinner
Saturday: sleep in, clean up, softball game at 1pm, drinks afterwards, then helping my BF with an event she is running at the retirement home where she works (it is 1920's themed)
Sunday: church, lunch with family, then getting the apartment ready as one of DH's friends is coming to live with us for 5 weeks (long story!)
tonight: dinner at the in-laws then Rosh Hashana services
saturday and sunday: studying, cleaning, and barreling through the Office as much as we can (the hubs has a test Monday so we probably won't get to watch that much
)
It's Rosh Hashanah and we're religious so our weekend is a bit crazy.
Tonight, dinner at my sister's.
(She's a good cook, but she never makes options that I am not allergic to and she does other things that make everything kind of uncomfortable.)
THEN, we walk 1.5 miles to C's parents and either sleep there OR bike ride the next 2 miles home. Services in the morning, then lunch at our new friends' place. Then, bike ride 3.5 miles to my parents' for dinner. Then back to C's parents, services in the morning (1 mile walk each way), then back to my parents!
It's going to be really exhausting and weird because my brothers are away. But hopefully fun - or at heart-healthy!
October 2013 February Siggy Challenge: Valentine's Day Fail
EDD 10/3/13
Tonight, rushing home from work to pack some stuff for the weekend and getting on the road ASAP to drive to Philly. Google maps says around a 5 hour drive. I am expected 7-8 with traffic tonight.
Saturday I am picking up friends at the Philly airport and going to see Dave Matthews Saturday night in Camden, NJ. We are staying in Philly over night on Saturday.
Sunday, driving 2 hours north to see the Pats play the Jets @1 at Giant's Stadium. Hopefully the game gets over around 4 then driving 2 more hours back down to Camden to see Dave Matthews on Sunday night.
After the concert Sunday night H gets to drive home 5 hours while I sleep. He gets Monday off. LUCKY BASTARD!
H works all weekend so I am pretty much on my own
Tonight- head home- play with Daisy to hopefully tire her out and make my arm look less appealing as a chew toy. Any of you dog owners have suggestions for me and my bite happy puppy? How do I get her to stop biting me?
Tomorrow- haircut at 10, then day to myself. Mamie, care to share your apple crisp recipe?
Sunday- cleaning/organizing/laundry. Might watch Twilight again. Or might just do that tonight.
Tonight: cleaning and prepping for tomorrow's party
Tomorrow: DH finally gets home from LA and we're having people over for the game at noon
Sunday: since DH was in LA for date night, we're going to a matinee, other than that not doing much of anything.

Saturday: Working 6-12, then probably studying and packing to get ready to stage the house.
Sunday: Will probably do some garden work, again for selling the house. More studying. More packing.

Tonight: Chinese take-out and Harry Potter movies.
Saturday: Taking the kitty to the vet for his rabies shot, running errands, shopping and cleaning up the apartment.
Sunday: Church, moving the futon from our apartment back to mom & dad's house and rearranging our bedroom.
Sounds great huh?
tonight i'm relaxing with some yummy wine --- firestone Riesling mmmm, tomorrow is just an errands day and I think D. and I might go out for sushi and a movie-- The Informant!
Sunday I'm doing my Trash the Dress shoot--- so excited and it's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day for it too! Hope, have fun with yours tomorrow!
