I treat myself to a SB white chocolate mochachino on Fridays. When I went through the drive thru I was STARVING, so I asked what muffins they had, she suggested a raspberry muffin, said it was really good, so I got it. When I got to work and started eating it, that sucker was the sweetest thing ever and not in a good way. The first might actually made me twitch. I tried to eat it since I paid for it and I hate wasting money, but it was making me nauseous so I had to toss it. Ugh, it was bad.
Just thought I'd share.
Re: Muffin
1. I hate bad recs. Especially when they're made by employees.
2. I hate food that taste horrific.
3. I hate paying for horrific tasting food.
I totally would have gotten chocolate if they had it.
I hate wasting money, too, so often times I force myself to eat something I paid for even when it tastes horrible. DH often times have to remind me that's it is ok to throw it away, but I feel guilty when I do that. Hope you find something good to eat.
This.
I hate that SB is the closet thing to walk to at work.
First off, I thought this post was directed at me from the title (Hello, I'm the cutest Muffin out there)
Second, I'm with Brandy, I hate when employees recommend things and they're awful.
I'm sorry lady!!! If you go to the GTG I'll get you a slice of cheesecake
Now there is some motivation
I'll make sure to be more specific when I title posts.
Yuck! That is the worst, when you try something that they recommend and it turns out to be horrible. Sometimes I wonder if they've actually eaten what they're suggesting. Although, I guess everyone does have different tastes.
In any case, the only pastry I like from Starbucks is the banana walnut loaf.
