Return of the storyline music video
I missed these. While watching the VMAs Sunday I was surprised to see snippets of nominated videos. Unless it was a YouTube phenomemon like "Single Ladies", I haven't seen a full-length music video in ages. F U MTV.
Anyway, I was excited about this video because my celeb crush Alexander Skarsgard acts in it. Enjoy!

Oh I am down with all the music videos... when I just want some noise in my house, like when I'm doing dishes and want to sing at the top of my lungs, I put on the MTV Hits channel. It's basically what MTV is supposed to be - all music videos, all the time. My favorite is Drake's video. Because it's so ridiculous.
I did manage to miss this one somehow though.
And fun fact - the first time I heard all the Single Ladies was over the noise of dish water while this station was on in the background, and I thought to myself, "Is that Beyonce singing an African song?".
"All the single ladies" DOES kind of sound like "AH MA WEEM AWAY"
I just saw that video the other day when I was looking for the Lovegame video. I think I liked the live version of Paparazzi better; the one from the VMAs. It seemed to have more feeling. . . I wish MTV played more video's though!

(1) Because, well, sexy vamp.
(2) Because she's so friggin' offensive it's fabulous. She's like Madonna when Madonna used to be shocking (hello "Like a Virgin" and "Papa Don't Preach").
Totally agree, SBS. On both counts. Plus, it makes her VMA performance understandable now.
I totally forgot about MTV Hits. VH1 still does their Top 20 countdown on Sunday mornings -- and I'm finally at that age where VH1 is more my speed (minus the $hitty reality shows) than MTV. I'm ancient.

Mamie, with all the crap you watch, you're going to dog on VH1 reality shows?
I mean, don't get me wrong, I hate 99% of them too...I just have an odd fascination with Rock of Love.
I know, right! I look down my nose at any and all VH1 show except the Celebrity Rehab one and Celebrity Fit Club. I even used to watch the original Flava of Love the first year, but I can't get down with the "I Love Money"s and New York shows. And Brett Michaels could give me the herp through the screen, so I avoid that too.

I agree! I just can't help but watch when I catch that show on.
And now I can sort of under stand the VMA performance, as well. I actually really like her music, too.
